Mission 007

Hello fellows!!! I just crossed India by train from the South to up North in Dharamsala, passing by Hyderabad, New Delhi and Shimla for the National Conference AIESEC India 2009, where I had the chance to work as an International Facilitator (FACI) and to celebrate my birthday in an amazing and autentic indian Punjabi party. And I was the only Brazilian.. and of course, I was representing the paradise with our flag.

I'm writing to share that I had a very nice trip. I worked as an International Facilitator during the AIESEC India National Conference 2009, with more than 500 new members and entrepreneurs from AIESEC in India. I was in charge to drive meetings about Social Responsibility and Sustainability and also organize short events over there. It was really interesting. Actually the whole trip was very nice, starting from the point that I left Bangalore on thursday and arrived in Shimla (the Himalayas) on monday, passing by Hyderabad (where a made really good friends) and Delhi before getting there. So, I stayed there working the whole week and I had the chance to celebrate my birthday on 23 of June (28 years old) in a typical indian Punjabi party. During the Conference we had the chance to interact with people from everywhere in India and discuss about global issues. I felt very connected with the atmosphere and especially because we have the same desires about social issues.. As you know, India and Brazil have very similiar social problems and we are both emerging now. That's one of the reasons for accepting to come here.
Well, before I came back to Bangalore, I went to Dharamsala for 2 days tracking and I just lived a dream there visiting the whole "Tibetan city" and the Dalai Lama's House.

After that, I met the whole AIESEC Bangalore staff in Delhi (little monkeys place) and came back to Bangalore in a 2 nights train trip.
